The Central Election Commission (CEC) adopted a decision allowing the voters from Corjova to cast their ballots in the constitutional referendum at polling places No. 4 and 14 in Cocieri, polling place No. 13 in Ustia and polling place No. 113 in Chisinau, under additional lists, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mihai Busuleac, a CEC member responsible for Dubasari district, said they anticipated that problems could arise in Corjova on the day of the referendum and decided to issue an additional 1,000 voting certificates for the voters from this village. “Yesterday, I discussed with Nicolae Rezmerita, the head of the polling place set up in Corjova. He told me the village was calm,” Busuleac said. At about 6am this morning, the Transnistrian separatist authorities started to patrol the area adjoining polling place No. 5 established at the theoretical high school “Mihai Eminescu” in Corjova and barred access to it. On September 1, the secessionist authorities banned the administration of the high school from hoisting Moldova’s flag and playing the national anthem during the festivity held to mark the beginning of the new school year.
