The Liberal Party’s deputy head Corina Fusu said the political agreement on the formation of the ruling alliance and the government program as well as the projects that are to be worked out by the groups of experts will be based on the Association Agreement with the EU and other recommendations made by the European partners. After the first meeting of the working groups, Corina Fusu said it is important to take into account the reforms asked by the foreign partners as the financing to Moldova will be unlocked if these reforms are done, IPN reports.

Corina Fusu noted that in the July 14 meeting they discussed general aspects. “We set the goal of drafting two documents by the end of this week – the political agreement and the government program. Each side will submit its own proposals and towards this weekend we will agree what document we will propose to the negotiators,” she stated.

The working groups that are to draft the agreement on the formation of the ruling alliance and the government program started work on July 14. Such an agreement was reached by the leaders of the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party and the Liberal Party in the negotiations.
