The Cabinet agreed changes to the model government procurement contract signed by the Center for Centralized Health Procurement. These refer to the penalties imposed on economic operators for delivery delays, IPN reports.
Thus, the penalty for the first 30 calendar days of delay will be 0.1% of the value of the non-delivered goods for each day of delay. The penalty for the next days of delay will be 0.5% of the value of the non-delivered goods for each day of delay, but not more than 30% of the value of the non-delivered goods for the whole period of delay.
Another change extends the period during which the health facilities will transfer payments for the purchased medicines and devices from 5 to 15 days. This amendment does not influence the general period of paying to the supplier – 30 days of the presentation of the fiscal invoice to the Center for Centralized Health Procurement.
The Cabinet also accepted to increase the personnel units of the Center from 18 to 25.
