The contract for the purchase of ISUZU buses that were displayed in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau will be signed on February 20 if the other participant in the tender contest does not submit a complaint until then. The Chisinau municipality will buy 31 buses from “Unipay Danișmanlik Yazilim Teknolojileri” LTD, which is the official dealer in Moldova of the Turkish plant “ISUZU”, IPN reports.
As of February 14 until February 24, the buses can be seen in the central square of Chisinau. It is an exhibition staged by the producer, acting mayor Ruslan Codreanu stated in Monday’s ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services and divisions.
According to Ruslan Codreanu, after the contract is signed, the buses will run on routes that are now not covered by the public transport. When the routes are set, the requests of the citizens of Chisinau will be taken into account. The new buses will mainly run on the streets Nicolae Testemiţanu, Albișoara and Maria Drăgan. The number of buses on Milescu Spătaru St will be supplemented as the number of public units of transport is now insufficient there.
The winner of the tender contest was chosen based on the quality-price principle. The business entity undertook a full grantee for the buses for the first two years of use for all the components.
