A Center of post-university training for doctors and pharmacists will be opened in Transnistria on the initiative of the de facto leader Vadim Krasnoselski, who stressed the importance of continuous education for medical workers for the quality of medical care.
The unrecognized republic’s de facto ministry of health has begun proceedings to create the Center, whose mission will be to provide continuous training to doctors of various specialties and pharmaceutical workers.
Medical care in the Transnistrian region is provided by 1,928 medical workers, 58% of whom don’t own a qualification category.
