The commission on culture, education, research, youth, sport and mass media and the legal commission for appointments and immunities of the Parliament announced that the deadline for the submission of applications for taking part in the contest to fill three vacant posts of member of the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) was extended until February 18, 5pm, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a note, the two commissions say the applicants must submit a recommendation letter from the public association, foundation, trade union association, employers association or religious organization of which they form part as well as a CV, the copy of the university diploma and the copy of the identity card. The applications can be sent to the following address: Chisinau municipality, 162 Stefan cel Mare Blvd. (the head office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry), office 1103. The Broadcasting Coordination Council is composed of nine members who are designated by the legislative body for a period of six years. The three posts were vacated by Carmelia Albu, Valeriu Soltan, and Ruslan Plesca as their terms in office expired. The initial deadline was February 7. The two commissions do not say why it was extended.
