The Ministry of Education and Research on Tuesday launched the contest to select the locality that will be designated as “Youth Capital- 2023”, IPN reports, quoting a press release issued by the Ministry.

The contest is open to the local public authorities of the first level, including those of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, and the local public authorities of the second level, except for the municipality of Chisinau and the local public authorities that held the title during the last three years.

The Ministry of Education and Research will allocate about 1 million lei for implementing the program. It will also offer methodological and logistic assistance.
