The public association “International Devolvement Alternatives” invites business associations interested in organizational development, improvement of the provided services and development of cooperation relations with similar organizations from Transnistria to take part in a contest. The project is implemented within the Support to Confidence Building Measures Program that is financed by the EU and implemented by UNDP, IPN reports.
According to the association, ten business associations, by five from each side of the Nisru River, will be selected at the contest. The winners will benefit from technical support and assistance during two years, including training in association management, collection of funds and attraction of investments and establishment of business contracts with partners from other states. These will also benefit from two fact-finding trips abroad and a grant of US$5,000 per organization.
The contest is open to public associations, union of producers, employers, chambers of trade and noncommercial partnerships. The assessment criteria include the organization of sustainable activities, the number of associations/beneficiaries and the geographical coverage.
The application must be accompanied by a statement of intent to establish cooperation relations between entities from both sides of the Nistru, the copy of the registration certificate, the copy of the organization’s statutes, a short presentation of the carried out activities and the designed aids.
The deadline for submissions is March 4, 4pm. The documents can be sent by e-mail to the address aid.info.ong@gmail.com or in printed form to the public association “International Devolvement Alternatives” that is based at 10 Calea Iesilor St in Chisinau.
