The Chisinau heat supplier, in concert with housing stock managers, continues to sue the consumers with debts for heat so as to recover the overdue payments. Notices over debts of 118.3 million lei were sent to more than 16,000 consumers. There will be filed over 6,000 lawsuits concerning debts of 55.6 million lei. Almost 4,000 civil cases over debts of 34.4 million lei are under examination, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from SA Termocom, the consumers with debts will be visited at home. The bailiffs may sequestrate property of the indebted consumers, ban them from doing certain things, including validating passports, and ban other persons from transferring things or fulfilling other obligations towards them. The company says that if honoring their financial obligations to the supplier, the consumers will avoid being sued and having their property sequestrated and will not incur additional costs.
