A Consultative Council for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) will be created under the Ministry of Economy, IPN reports, quoting a Government decision drafted by the given Ministry.
The Consultative Council will contribute to increasing transparency in the decision-making of public authorities and will thoroughly inform employers, nongovernmental organizations and entrepreneurs about the process of drafting legal acts and Government decisions with an impact on the work of the SMEs.
The Council will consist of representatives of the public and private sectors and of the NGO sector. It will inform the Ministry of Economy about the business community’s opinion on the policy documents concerning SMEs and about proposals for improving the legislation and programs to develop the SMEs.
It is planned that the Consultative Council will start work on December 16, 2016.
