Some 1,200 people will get together to mark the professional day of the constructor on August 8 in the Opera and Ballet Theater in Chisinau. According to the president of the Employers Federation “Condrumat”, Pavel Caba, the celebration will be joined by decision-makers from the construction industry, and by workers from entire Moldova. The festivity will start at 15.00. Catharsis, Nelly Ciobanu, Constantin Moscovici, the folklore ensemble „Martisor”, the ensemble of accordionists „Concertino”, Serj Coston and Lenuta Condurache will perform for the constructors, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the concert organizer, the musician Constantin Moscovici. They will confer awards to 20 most active builders and money prizes of up to 1,500 lei. Half of the awarded will be managers of construction companies. For the last 5 years (2003-2007) the volume of investments in the construction branch has grown 4-fold, reaching 15 billion lei in 2007. The ratio of foreign investments rose 10 times in 2007, compared with 2003. The investments in the fixed assets in building dwellings have surged 9 times for the last 5 years, reaching 2.9723 billion lei in 2007. Most of the investments in the branch are operated in the capital of the country.
