The life of a 36-year-old man was saved by his colleagues at a building site in Chisinau on Monday. Doctor coordinator Eufalia Negreata of the Chisinau Emergency Service has told Info-Prim Neo that the workman slipped from the the 5th floor at the building site, but was luckily caught by other workers at the third. The man suffered cerebral contusion and a bruised his head, but emergency doctors said he was “lucky to be alive”. Same day at 11:30 pm, a nameless woman in her late 40s fell out of a train near Revaca station. The victim is now in coma, receiving care at the Emergency Hospital. On Tuesday early morning around 4:30 am, an ambulance was called to a sauna on Hancesti Street, where a 19-year-old got drunk and was about to drown in a swimming pool. An 80-year-old man died this morning after falling from the roof of his own house on Liviu Rebreanu Street. The man got there to fix the TV antenna. Over the past day and night the Chisinau Emergency Service recorded 777 calls, including 86 cases of trauma, a record number for this period.
