Construction supervisor jobs open to specialists with second-level education

Construction specialists with second-level education and adequate experience will also be able to qualify for supervisor jobs, following amendments to the Regulation on the certification of construction workers, Info-Prim Neo reports. Minister of Construction and Regional Development Marcel Raducan said the modification aimed to exclude formalities in the process of qualifying construction workers. To be able to qualify for a construction site supervisor's post, a specialist with second-level education will have to accumulate 7-15 years of experience, as compared to 5-10 years for a specialist with higher education. However the requirements for both are the same, and they will be verified by special qualification commissions.
