Construction Ministry hopes to get additional allocations for repairing Presidential Office and Parliament
The works to reconstruct and extend the Presidential Office and the Parliament Building have been 60% and, respectively, 40% executed, Minister of Construction and Regional Development Marcel Raducan told
a news conference, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
Marcel Raducan said the allotted sum of 25 million lei is insufficient to complete the repair works. The Ministry hopes the state budget will be amended and there will be allocated additional financial resources.
The works now focus on the offices of the MPs. The costs of repairs will be lower than initially planned owing to the money-saving regime used, the minister said. The total costs are estimated at 400 million lei.
