The Central Election Commission (CEC) on December 20 submitted the report on the final results of the November 28 early legislative elections following the vote recount performed on December 15 to the Constitutional Court. The Court is to pass judgment in its December 24 meeting. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the Commission’s spokesman Dumitru Tara said the same day the Court will examine and confirm the seats of MP, the list of substitute candidates and the CEC’s report on the results of the vote recount. According to Dumitru Tara, by Friday the Constitutional Court will preliminarily examine the documents submitted by the central electoral authority. After the vote recount, the PCRM obtained 308 votes more, but this result cannot affect the distribution of seats in Parliament.
