A lot of fried pistachios was withdrawn from sale in Moldova. The National Food Safety Agency said the producer company decided itself to withdraw the consignment and to recall the product from consumers after a high contaminant level of Ochratoxin A was detected in the product, IPN reports.
The Agency said it goes to fried pistachios K-Classic, 100g, lot No. 21029/220726001, use-by date: 22.04.2023, made by “Carl Wilhelm Clasen GmbH”. The product was sold through Kaufland stores.
“The consumers who bought this product are asked not to consume it and to return it to the shop where they bought it and will be refunded the money. A receipt does not need to be presented,” said the Agency.
