Traffic on Dacia Boulevard from the Chisinau City Gates to the Airport is at a crawl after a lane was closed for repair. Adrian Boldurescu, the head of the General Transport Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the repair extends from Dacia's junction with Valea Crucii Street to the former police checkpoint near the entry to the suburban town of Singera. Temporary traffic signs were installed and additional markings were provided along the road under repair to advise the motorists. The repair works are part of a joint road rehabilitation project of the Municipality and the Moldovan Government. Authorities hope that the repair will be completed by the end of September.
