Conflict resolution expert to consult Chisinau and Tiraspol
Conflict resolution expert Stefan Wolff, professor at Birmingham University, Great Britain, is eager to offer the necessary analytical aid to Chisinau and Tiraspol for the consolidation of trust between the two banks of the Nistru, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Bureau for Reintegration.
Stefan Wolff had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov, with whom he discussed the process of the Transnistrian settlement and its resolution prospects.
Eugen Carpov mentioned the last updates in the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol, and noted the activity of the sector task forces for the consolidation of trust between the two banks of the Nistru; he made reference to the results of the Conference dedicated to confidence-building, which took place between June 20 and 23 in Rottach-Egern, Germany.
The expert praised the confidence-building measures between the two banks in the process of Transnistrian settlement. Stefan Wolff is the author of several works on international security, the Transnistrian conflict having a special place within his scientific activity.
