The conditions put forward by the Bloc ACUM in the discussions with the Party of Socialists for eventual cooperation in Parliament are unacceptable and the formation of a government coalition is not actually wanted. The return to discussions between the two entities took place after the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Kozak in Chisinau, politologist Alexandru Solcan was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel.

Alexandru Solcan noted the visits paid by the foreign officials generally had an impact on the decisions of some of the parties. The PSRM and ACUM returned to discussions after they talked with Dmitry Kozak, who said that snap elections will anyway take place sooner or later and the electoral system should be changed. “Those from the Bloc ACUM were promised or they imagined that the Socialists will be more flexible and will accept their conditions after the discussions with Kozak,” stated the politologist.

According to journalist Valeriu Reniță, the fact that representatives of the Bloc ACUM met with Dmitry Kozak shows two scenarios are being implemented simultaneously – a transparent one and a non-transparent one. “The transparent one involves everyone, the working groups of the Socialists and of the Bloc ACUM, while the non-transparent one belongs to Mister Năstase,” he stated, noting namely Andrei Năstase has a more intense discussion with Dmitry Kozak.

The journalist said the Socialists led by President Igor Dodon do not agree with the statements made by Kozak after the meeting with the leaders of political parties. The three parties, the PSRM, PDM and ACUM, can delegate representatives to form part of the parliamentary majority. “After the meeting with Kozak, I think the PDM has the moral right to urge to form such a coalition,” stated Valeriu Reniță.
