Conditions for subsidizing agricultural producers improved
The users of phytosanitary products and fertilizers who applied for
subsidies in 2010, but did not get them because there were not enough
financial resources will be able to receive them. The Government
extended the term for examining the application by one month, until
October 1, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Commenting on the amendments made to a previous Government Decision on
the method of distributing the money of the agriculture support fund,
Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry
Vasile Bumacov said that after the budget law for 2011 is rectified and
additional resources are allocated to the subsidization fund, the
producers will receive the calculated subsidies on the basis of the
given applications.
The amendments excluded the subsidy eligibility condition imposed on the
producers that lag behind in paying the technical credits allocated from
the state budget in 2004-2009 for stimulating the creation of
agricultural machinery stations within the 2-KR Project.
There was also modified the calculation method used to stimulate lending
to agricultural producers by banks and microfinance organizations so
that all the recipients of loans are in the same conditions. The
producers will be also able to take out loans for partially covering the
price of motor cultivators - 25% of the price per unit.
