To restore the lost driver’s license, the driver will no longer be required to present a medical certificate. Currently, when the driver’s license is lost, the person must fulfill again all the requirements for obtaining the license, including to present a medical certificate (Form No. 083/e).

The simplified restoration procedure is specified in a draft Government decision that was proposed by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection for public consultations, IPN reports.

The Ministry said the goal of the decision is to simplify the process and to reduce the period of time needed to restore the lost driver’s license.
