From January 2025, Moldovan citizens living abroad who are admitted to competitions for public offices will be able to participate in the written test held directly at Moldova’s embassies and consulates opened in the states where the applicants stay, IPN reports.

The written tests for the competitions for public offices can be organized at the diplomatic missions in France, the Czech Republic, the United States of America, Spain, Canada, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, Italy, Austria, and Germany.

The cooperation agreement between the State Chancellery and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the organization and conduct of these competitions was signed by the Government’s Secretary General Artur Mija and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi.

In this regard, the document provides that the staff of diplomatic missions and consular offices will be provided with informational and methodological support.

At the same time, the objectives of the new decision are the implementation of the regulatory framework on the recruitment and selection of candidates and the promotion of employment measures in the public service sector.
