Concerts dedicated to Romania's National Day

A series of concerts will be held in Chisinau and Balti during the next days on the occasion of Romania's National Day, Info-Prim Neo reports. Master Gheorghe Zamfir, accompanied by the orchestra “Creator. Iurie Bors”, will hold a concert at the National Philharmonic “Sergei Lunkevich” on November 21. The same day, Tudor Gheorghe will give a recital at the Palace of Culture in Cahul, Romanian Ambassador to Moldova Marius Lazurca said in a news conference. Soprano Leontina Vaduva and the Orchestra of the National Philharmonic will give a concert at the National Philharmonic on November 26. A performance by the European Symphonic Orchestra will take place at the Organ Hall on November 30. The concerts are organized by the Romanian Embassy in Moldova and the Romanian Cultural Institute. “I'm glad that this year the event will include a wide range of cultural activities,” said the Institute's director Petre Gurau. On December 1, the Romanian Embassy will hold the traditional reception dedicated to Romania's National Day.
