A municipal commission was set up in Chisinau to work out a new concept concerning the placing of household waste storage platforms in the capital city. An order to this effect was signed by acting mayor of Chisinau Silvia Radu, IPN reports.
Deputy mayor Nistor Grozavu was named chairman of the commission, while the head of the Cleanup and Territorial Development Section of the Public Amenities Division Vasile Efros will serve as secretary. The commission also includes the chiefs of “Autosalubritate” Division, the General Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations Division and of the Chisinau Public Health Center and also the heads of Chisinau districts.
Under the order, the district heads must create by own orders commissions for inspecting the waste storage platforms in the managed areas. These will draw up passports for each platform within 30 days of the inspection.
Based on the information that will be presented by district inspection commissions, the municipal commission will compile a final report on the situation of platforms. Within 40 days, the commission will present a new concept for the placing or replacing of platforms.
