The Government on April 12 approved the nominal composition of the National Participation Council for 2017-2019. The 26 members, who represent civil society, will be involved in the process of working out, implementing, monitoring, assessing and updating strategic planning documents, IPN reports.
The National Participation Council plays the role of strengthening the dialogue between the Government and civil society. “It is one of my promises, which I today consider fulfilled: a better dialogue with civil society. As I promised, increased transparency and interaction will be ensured with civil society. I count a lot on the Council and hope this will ensure more expertise and involvement in bills that we draft and submit for approval,” stated Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
