The Cabinet updated the nominal composition of the governmental country reunification commission in the context of the central public administration reform, IPN reports.
The commission consists of ministers, the Governor of Gagauzia, the president of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and directors of the National Anticorruption Center and the Security and Intelligence Service. The secretariat duties will be fulfilled, as earlier, by the Bureau for Reintegration Policies of the State Chancellery. The commission, which was constituted in March 2011, is one of the mechanisms used in the peaceful Transnistrian conflict settlement process.
The central public administration reform also required the updating of the nominal composition of the national committee for combating trafficking in human beings.
The committee will consist of the ministers of internal affairs, foreign affairs, health, finance and economy and the chiefs of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the General Police Inspectorate, the Border Police, the Security and Intelligence Service and of the Governor of Gagauzia.
The committee’s permanent secretariat will work as part of the State Chancellery.
