Composer Anatol Roscovan dies at 48

Anatol Roscovan, a composer with the Teleradio-Moldova symphonic orchestra, has died last Sunday at the age of 48 years, Info-Prim Neo reports. Born on January 21, 1960, in Telenesti town, Anatol Roscovan graduated from the Gavriil Musicescu State Arts Institute in 1983. He was playing in a number of bands as Legenda, led by Iurie Sadovnic, and Mihai Dolgan's famous Noroc. In 1988 he set up his own band Colinda. In the 90s he became the artistic director of the band of Teleradio-Moldova's Orchestra conducted by Gheorge Mustea. Meanwhile Anatol Roscovan wrote music, and worked with gifted children. May God rest him in peace.
