A complete and profound re-setting of the Republic of Moldova is needed now. The current government will not remain long in power, executive director of the Institute for Strategic Initiatives Vlad Kulminski was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Expertise hour” on Jurnal TV channel.

“A complete and profound re-setting of the Republic of Moldova should be started. I think the essence of the problem resides in this. The current Government will not stay long from now on. I see all the political processes and consider this change will occur much faster than we expect. The relevant question for us is what will happen next. I don’t think we have a coherent and plausible answer to this question,” stated Vlad Kulminski.

Economic expert Sergiu Tofilat said Moldovan society should seek penalties for the corrupt regime and the persons who serve this regime from the foreign partners. As to the banking fraud, they say the population will have to repay 25 billion lei to the National Bank. “For the people to understand, 25 billion lei is equal to the pensions of all the elderly people living in the Republic of Moldova for two years and a half,” he noted.
