Competition watchdog warns telecoms carriers
The National Agency for Competition Protection (ANPC) established that the subscribers to the mobile Internet service pay a higher tariff for the same service if they use up the volume of Internet Mobil 3G traffic included in subscription. It demands that the Internet service providers notify the subscribers when the traffic is used up, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communiqué from the ANPC, only one telecoms carrier now informs the subscribers about the using up of the traffic included in their subscription. Thus, the subscribers can decide whether to use the mobile Internet service provided at an extra-subscription tariff or not.
The ANPC warned the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology of the necessity of obliging the other mobile phone carriers to give notice to their subscribers.
