Compensations for heat will be released in two weeks

The persons who are entitled to state compensations for heat will receive a lump sum of 390 lei for January – March without submitting applications to the social worker. The money can be taken from Banca de Economii and from post offices in two weeks, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a news conference on April 4, Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga said the recipients of all the types of pensions and social benefit of up to 900 lei will receive compensations of 130 lei a month. The minister said the recipients will not have to present additional documents as the right to compensation will be decided by the National Social Insurance House on the basis of the electronic lists of recipients of pensions and social allowances. Over 540,000 persons will receive compensations for heat. National Social Insurance House director Maria Borta said the pensioners and recipients of social allowances can go to the House and check if they are on the lists of beneficiaries. If they are not, they can ask to be included in the lists. According to the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, about 28,000 families benefited from compensations for heat this January, 30,000 families in February, and 36,000 families in March.
