Starting with this year, the business entities with more than five employees are to present the mandatory fiscal reports in electronic form. The State Tax Service called on these to connect to digital fiscal services as soon as possible so as to avoid crowdedness, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Service says such a move is designed to make the cooperation between taxpayers and the fiscal body more rapid and efficient. The taxpayers will not need to go to the local offices of the State Tax Service, saving thus time. Also, the taxpayers connected to digital fiscal services will be swiftly and regularly informed about the latest events and data about fiscal administration.
The state-run company “Fiscservinform” is responsible for the connection to digital fiscal services. To benefit from these, the applicant must possess a digital signature. Paper reports will no longer be accepted, while the fine for the late presentation of digital reports is up to 1,000 lei.
