Companies exempted from transferring money to state budget
The state-run companies Chisinau Glass Factory, the Central Publishing House, the Chisinau Polygraphic Complex, Moldova’s Post Office, the Quality Wine Complex Milestii Mici, the Marculesti Airport, and the Product Quarantine, Identification, Examination and Disinfection Center will be exempted from transferring a part of the net profit made in 2010 to the state budget. Such a decision was taken in the last meeting of the Government. By the same decision, the joint stock companies Moldexpo, Armo-Beton, Cricova and Barza-Alba will be exempted from paying the dividends for 2010, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar explained that these companies initiated important investment programs and a part of the net profit and dividends that were to be paid to the state will be used to implement these programs aimed at reequipping the halls, diversifying production and creating new workplaces.
“The exempted payments total 14.2 million lei. This sum cannot prevent the budget from being fulfilled. The projected reequipment and other reforms at these companies will lead to improved production and services and increased competitiveness,” said Valeriu Lazar.
