Even if the June 1 deadline is close, the economic entities do not hurry to take away the billboards that were illegally set up on the road that joins the City’s Gates and the Chisinau Airport. Radu Blaj, the head of the Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that only one company removed a billboard by May 30. The other companies haven’t complied with the mayor’s order. After June 1, the billboards will be taken down by force and the City Hall will sue the economic entities so as to recover the dismantling costs. In the perimeter of the streets Muncesti and Valea Crucii (the City’s Gates), there were placed 139 billboards that are owned by 54 economic entities.
