Communists use “state racket” to renovate wells in Moldova - Serafim Urecheanu
The leader of the parliamentarian faction of “Moldova Noastra” Alliance (AMN) Serafim Urecheanu denounced at the Parliament’s meeting held on Thursday, November 9, what he had called “state racket”, practiced by the Communist Party in connection with the state enterprises obliged to transfer money for a project to renovate the wells, launched by the central authorities, Info-Prim Neo informs.
The MP made this statement in the context of a proposal launched by him to grant from the state budget 800,000 lei for finalizing the works of constructing the aqueduct in Calmatui village, Hancesti raion, where 76 families that had suffered a disaster are living.
Supporting his allegations, Urecheanu has presented an order by which it is shown that 5 state enterprises were obliged to allot 233,114 lei to renovate the wells in Fantanita village, Drochia raion. According to the document, the contribution set for a state enterprise from Edinet comprised 37,000 lei, one from Calarasi – 78,000 lei, another one from Soldanesti – 44,000 lei, from Soroca – 37,000 lei, and for “Padurea Domneasca” – 36,000 lei. At the same time, there are not possibilities to collect these financial means in Calmatui, Urecheanu asserts. “Those wells that you inaugurate with so much enthusiasm is not but a direct state extortion”, Urecheanu said.
The AMN leader’s proposal to allot money for the settlement which suffered a disaster was rejected by 53 votes of the communist MPs. The member of this parliamentary faction Larisa Zimina justified the vote coming up with the idea that, “though the colleagues from the communist faction are very concerned with the situation in Calmatui village, they can submit a series of proposals coming from the villages where the situation is similar”.
