“We have been deeply affected by the news that we will no more enjoy serious support on the part of the Party of Socialists. It is an irrecoverable loss. This ironical statement was made during a break in the November 24 sitting of the legislature, after the president of honor of the Party of Socialists Veronica Abramchuk in a press briefing said that the party will no longer politically support the Party of Communists. The lawmaker of the group of Socialists said they took such a decision because the PCRM aims to deepen the political crisis and to incite hatred in society. Veronica Abramchuk, Igor Dodon and Zinaida Greceanyi formed the group of Socialists after leaving the Communist parliamentary group.
