About 50 Communist lawmakers and sympathizers of the PCRM staged a protest inside the building of the Ministry of Agriculture, where the parliamentary commissions hold meetings, demanding again that the Alliance for European Integration should resign. After protesting for about half an hour, they went to the State Residence situated on Sfatul Tarii St to request Acting President Marian Lupu to dissolve Parliament so that early legislative elections could be called, Info-Prim Neo reports. While the lawmakers were coming together for the meeting, the protesters chanted “Down with the Traitors!”. Communist MP Grigore Petrenko said that the current Parliament is no longer legal and should be dissolved. “There is no other solution. Down with Ghimpu, Lupu and Filat. Resign!” he stated. Artur Reshetnikov, of the PCRM, said the ruling alliance used up its power. “The parliamentary activity is illegal. Down with the Alliance!” chanted the MP. The Communists mounted a similar protest in the Ministry of Agriculture’s hall last week. They are determined to continue the protests until the legislature is dissolved.
