The only goal of the Communists is to destroy Moldova’s European future and their recent acts showed this, Democratic MP Adrian Candu said from the central rostrum of Parliament.

“The real goal of the Communists is to seize power, to prevent the country from following its European road and to deprive it of the support enjoyed from the foreign partners. They want Moldova to be isolated as until 2009,” said Adrian Candu.

He stated that the Communists are not interested in the country’s future. They try to block the activity of the Parliament and Government by different stratagems. “Does somebody in this hall really believe that the Communists are concerned about the fate of Transnistria or the general developments? The Communists no longer resist in the opposition. They got into a panic. They understand that they do not manage to generate conflicts inside the coalition. This was their only preoccupation after 2009,” said Candu.

“Acting against the national interest, alongside those who want to cause hysteria over any positive initiative of Chisinau, the Communists tabled this censure motion not against the coalition’s Government, but against themselves.”
