Communist parliamentary group becomes smaller

MPs Vadim Misin, Oleg Babenko and Tatiana Botnariuc left the Communist parliamentary group. The announcement was made in the June 7 sitting of Parliament. Vadim Misin said he and his colleagues will continue to work as unaffiliated lawmakers, Info-Prim Neo reports. The attending MPs applauded the decision of the three. The head of the Liberal faction Ion Hadarca said that this step will contribute to making the legislative body’s work more efficient. Lawmakers Igor Dodon, Zinaida Grecheanyi and Veronica Abramchuk left the Communist parliamentary group on November 4, 2011 and formed the group of Socialists in Parliament. The Communist Party now has 36 MPs.
