Communist MPs urge AEI to manifest wisdom in spring parliamentary session

Maria Postoiko, the leader of the parliamentary group of the Communists Party (PCRM), asked the ruling Alliance for European Integration (AEI) to show wisdom during the current session of the Parliament and support the reasonable proposals made by the PCRM. At the same time, the PCRM says it remained the only force in Moldova as the AEI is losing power. The Alliance replies among the Parliament's priorities this session should be clear initiatives not electoral statements, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The Liberal-Democratic majority and the Filat Government promoted antisocial and antistate reforms and showed what they can do by this,” said Postoiko. According to the Communists, the political and economic crisis and the disorder are convenient for the present government. In response, the leaders of the factions that form the AEI said the government set out clear objectives, mentioning the preparations for signing the Association Agreement with the EU and the agreement on the liberalization of the visa regime. “The ruling coalition and the Opposition must find a civilized way out of the situation,” said Deputy Speaker Serafim Urecheanu. The Parliament resumed work on February 11.
