Update: Parliament opened a new sitting after examining the bills included in the agenda of the meeting started on April 4. The Communist MPs returned, IPN reports.

In the morning, the Communist parliamentary group boycotted the sitting. MP Oleg Reidamn announced that the faction is protesting because no decision was taken after last week’s hearings centering on the April 7 case, five years after the violent protests of 2009. The group of Socialists headed by Igor Dodon was also absent from the sitting.
