Communist parliamentarians demand that the head of the parliamentary commission for culture, education, youth ands mass media Corina Fusu provide explanations over the recent visit to the public television channel Moldova 1, Info-Prim Neo reports. Communist MP Inna Supac asked that Corina Fusu offers explanations at the start of the commission’s meeting on December 16. Supac yet did not wait for explanations as she and her Communist colleagues left the meeting, protesting thus against the agenda. Before going out, Inna Supac said that according to her information, Corina Fusu intimidated employees of the public TV channel, threatening them that they might be visited by officers of the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime and that they would receive their salaries after the company’s administration was changed. After Inna Supac left, Corina Fusu said that he decided to visit Moldova 1 after several journalists of the channel complained that they work in “serious conditions” as unplanned repair works started in the central block. Corina Fusu denied having intimidated the journalists. “Any MP has the right to visit a public institution,” she said.
