The Communist parliamentary group proposed and supported the initiatives that were for the benefit of the country and its people, especially the social and economic initiatives, said participants in the June 16 meeting of the Central Committee of the Party of Communists (PCRM), IPN reports.

MP Inna Supac said the parliamentary group she heads contributed to increasing the allocations for the participants in World War II and the allowances for looking after children with severe disabilities up to their age of 18. On the initiative of the PCRM, a bill to maintain the price of the health insurance policy for several years was adopted. Discussions were initiated in Parliament on the banking fraud, where the Communists underlined that no concrete results in the investigation have been achieved so far.

Inna Supac also spoke about the PCRM’s fight against the initiative to change the mixed electoral system, noting that this is not transparent. On the day the bill was passed, the PCRM chose to be near the people who protested outside.

The MP said the PCRM fights for Moldova’s statehood, while the Democratic leader Vlad Plahotniuc is the main character who is against the statehood and the initiatives submitted by the Democrats in Parliament and not only confirm this . In her report, Inna Supac complained about the ‘traitors’ from the party who accepted money for joining the Democratic Party.

The Communist leader Vladimir Voronin said the government’s initiatives are not for the citizens’ benefit. He praised his party mates, saying they are experienced persons, while the Communist MPs who left the party are nothing but voting machines.

The meeting adopted a draft decision by which the Communist MPs pledge to promote the interests of the Republic of Moldova and its citizens. These will pay more visits to regions and will continue to cooperate with the foreign partners in keeping Moldova’s statehood.
