Communist group in Chisinau Council has three new members
The Communist Party's group in the Chisinau Municipal Council will have three new members that will occupy the seats vacated by Igor Dodon, Ion Ceban and Zinaida Greceanyi after the Supreme Court of Justice confirmed that the seats had been vacated without any breach of procedure.
Communist group leader Boris Golovin told Info-Prim Neo the next members on the party's tickets to occupy the seats are Victor Gurau, Elena Hrenova and Igor Lupulciuc. The Central Election Commission is yet to give its formal consent.
The Communists are represented in the Chisinau Council by 23 members, the Liberals by 17 councilors, the Liberal-Democrats by 7, and the Democrats by one councilor. Two councilors left the Communist group to form the Socialist group.
