The number of customs posts that permit the import of oil products through motor vehicles will be extended, as the Commission for Exceptional Situations decided. This way, the import will be permitted also through the border crossing points Giurgiulești-Galați, Cahul-Oancea and Sculeni-Sculeni. On the import of oil products originating in EU member states, the inspection body will not need to take samples if a statement of compliance and an inspection report issued by a laboratory accredited in the EU are presented, IPN reports.
Also, the Commission set a temporary mechanism for the regulation of the commercial-economic relations of Transnistrian business entities. The revenues of the Kuchurgan Power Plant from the sale of electricity to consumers on the right side of the Nistru could be used by business entities registered in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova for purchasing consumer goods intended for the citizens from the Transnistrian region. The implementation of this provisional mechanism will be monitored by an interinstitutional working group coordinated by the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration.
The periods of validity of the environmental permit for waste management and the authorization for the emission of pollutants in the atmosphere by stationary sources issued to the Moldovan Steel Works were extended until August 31.
The Commission ordered to disburse money from the Government’s reserve fund for managing the Ukrainian refugee crisis. Over 1 million lei was allocated to employees of territorial social assistance bodies involved in the process of managing the flow of refugees during April-June 2022. Another 3.5 million lei will be distributed to LPAs of the second level and about 1.2 million lei to LPAs of the first level for maintaining refugee placement centers. For the same purpose, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will receive 2.6 million lei, while the Ministry of Culture will get about 300,000 lei.
The Commission also ordered that the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection should cover itself the costs associated with the remuneration of the personnel involved in the management of the refugee placement center housed by Moldexpo Center.
