Saxan remains without a coach. Vlad Goian tendered his resignation after Saxan obtained only one point during the first seven rounds, IPN reports.

In the last match, Saxan surprisingly lost at home to Academia 0-3. The team from Ciadir Lunga also suffered two defeats in the first-leg and return matches against Apollon, of the first qualifying round of Europa League.

Vlad Goian also coached the teams Rapid, Iskra-Stal, FC Tiraspol and the national Under 19 team of Moldova.  Nicolai Panu will hold the post of coach at Saxan on an interim basis.
