Coach Goian upset with U-19s' results and play
Moldova's Under-19 head coach Vlad Goian is very upset with the performance of the squad in the preparatory friendlies held during September 6-9 in Switzerland. “I'm not happy neither with the result nor with the play of my pupils. I saw many flaws in the squad which I intend to deal away with as soon as I can”, Goian told Info-Prim Neo.
Speaking about Moldova's rival in the recent friendlies, Goian said Switzerland is a very solid team which will be a tough nu to crack nut for any team in the upcoming qualifiers.
Concerning the changes to be made before the qualifying campaign starts in October, Goian said he trusts his players and that they will summon all their forces for the official matches. “They must understand that playing for Moldova is not just an honor but also a chance of a brighter future”.
Moldova's U-19s will play the next matches in Chisinau, during October 2-7, against Italy, Russia and Latvia.
