Coach Curteian leaves national football team

Alexandru Curteian resisted only ten matches at the national football team of Moldova. He tendered his resignation after failing to secure at least one victory, IPN reports.

After a meeting with the president of the Moldovan Footfall Federation Pavel Cebanu, Curteian decided to leave. Cebanu said that until the end of the Euro 2016 qualifying rounds, the national team will be trained by Romanian coach Stefan Stoica, who remains yet the main coach of Zimbru.

Stefan Stoica earlier trained Milsami. He will make his debut at the national team on October 9, when Moldova plays Russia in Chisinau.
