A sum of 1.723 billion lei has been transferred by the National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) for paying pensions, allowances for temporary incapacity for work and other benefits for September since the start of this month, IPN reports.

In a press release, the CNAS says the transfer for paying allowances for families with children, paternal allowances, social and financial assistance, compensations for participants in the Chernobyl cleanup, lifelong allowances for athletes and trainers was made on September 11.

The sums can be collected from any post office, regardless of the place of residence, or can be received on the salary card or the social card.

Next week, there will be transferred the amounts intended for unemployment benefit, maternity allowances, newly set pensions and the second tranche of the allowances for temporary incapacity for work.
