The persons who took part in the gathering of munitions and military equipment and in demining works in the period after the war for Moldova’s independence and territorial integrity will get a state monthly allowance of 750 lei as from the month an application is submitted.

Contacted by IPN for details, Viorica Stanila, deputy head of the Public Relations Division of the National House of Social Insurance (CNAS), said the standard application will be submitted in person or through the agency of a representative designated by proxy or by MPower electronic signature.

The application must be accompanied by the original and a copy of the identity card, the original and the copy of the war veteran’s permit and other documents.

The national program of actions devoted to the Year of Gratitude for the participants in the battles for defending Moldova’s independence and territorial integrity, which was approved by the Government, includes the revision of the normative framework concerning war veterans with a view to increasing the level of social protection of veterans and the family members of those killed in battle.
