The National Social Insurance Company CNAS has launched and information campaign titled “Pensions in Moldova - be informed!” During the summer, CNAS employees will hold meetings with local authorities and the general public in all districts of the country to offer them insights into how pensions in Moldova are granted and calculated, IPN reports.

“The campaign’s goal is to increase the level of transparency of the mechanisms for establishing, calculating, indexing and increasing pensions by actively informing pension beneficiaries, but also potential retirees, who work today, pay state social security contributions and hope for a decent living in the future”, CNAS said in a press release.

Leaflets will be distributed during the information campaign and informative materials will be published in the local press for active information of the population.
